Magic Box Desk By Mummenthaler & Meier, Switzerland 1960

Magic box office cabinet designed by mummenthaler & meier in switzerland in the 1960s, this example in oak veneer is in very good condition despite its age.

This opens in two flaps over 180 degrees to reveal a sliding desk with a drawer (lockable) and a sliding shelf also in the lower part.

The side flaps also have a large number of storage spaces.

The sliding neon works and lights up as soon as it is pulled forward.

Only the 2 hanging shelves on the left are missing (removed by the previous owner).

Some shelves have been replaced by new ones (cp 5mm).

Two small exterior marks (see photos) including a hole for attaching a power strip.

The lock works normally.

Dimensions closed width 83 cm, depth 56 cm, height 114 cm dimensions open width 168 cm depth 65 cm height of open work surface 70 cm.
